In 2015, she won both the Thai Film Director runner up Best Actress award and Daradaily the Great award for her role in the film "May Who?" (เมย์ไหน..ไฟแรงเฟร่อ). In 2013, aged sixteen, she was caught taking methamphetamines with a friend. Her father asked her to leave the industry temporarily as punishment. While holidaying with friends in Phuket on July 28, 2016, Punpun abused actress Namcha Sheranut Yusananda in a social media post and subsequently left Nadao Bangkok due to the controversy.
